My work is impulsive and colorful. I love playing with where intention and accident meet, seeing what happens when water and pigment come together. I've lived many places, following my curiosity across the map, and that instinct is still with me, informing how I paint.

Every year, I return to Martha’s Vineyard. As a child, I rode my bicycle barefoot along the dirt roads and swam with the stinging red jellyfish. My paintings of Martha’s Vineyard allow me to re-immerse myself in that landscape. Every summer has a different feeling, even if the elements remain the same.
